Payoneer Increases Transaction Fees

Payoneer has just announced that it’s increasing transaction fees in certain regions by 90%. These changes will kick in on October 20, 2024. We have provided a link below this article to check affected countries and relevant fee changes per country and service.

The increase will primarily impact users outside the UK, US, EU, and Australia.

The transaction fee will rise from 2% to 3.99% of the transaction amount, with additional fixed fees based on the currency used. For USD transactions, a flat fee of $0.49 will apply, while non-USD transactions will be charged the following rates: 0.39 GBP, 0.45 EUR, 0.75 AUD, 0.67 CAD, or 73.76 JPY.

In an email sent to customers, Payoneer justified the fee hikes by stating, “To ensure we can keep giving you the best service, we periodically review our fees as the market changes. While these adjustments are necessary, our commitment to empowering your business growth remains our top priority.”

The fee increase mentioned above applies to most countries, but it’s important to keep in mind that Payoneer charges multiple fees that vary based on your country and the currency of your bank account. Be sure to check specific charges relevant to your country for a more accurate picture of what to expect.
